Oku, it’s a rare gem in a country still dominated by robusta.\u003c\/span\u003e This lot is fully washed, with a careful 24–36 hour fermentation before being sun-dried on raised African beds for 7–8 days, ensuring a clean and consistent cup.\r\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eWorking with smallholder farmers across Foumbot, Bamenda, Mbouda, and Bafoussam, the Grassfield Co-op is dedicated to elevating quality and preserving the region’s coffee heritage. Although over 80% of Cameroon's coffee production is robusta, the volcanic soil, altitude, and unique microclimates surrounding Mt. Oku provides ideal conditions for arabica. Despite challenges such as aging trees and historically low yields, a new wave of cooperatives and government initiatives are reviving Cameroon’s role on the specialty coffee stage.
