Our newest Peruvian single origin is sourced from the Perfiles Cooperative, a Fair Trade and Organic-certified producer in Cajamarca, Peru. This fully-washed lot showcases the dedication of 219 smallholder farmers working across the districts of Chontalí, Pomahuaca, Sallique, and Jaén. Formed in 2019, the cooperative brings together growers from regions known for producing exceptional coffees.
Despite being fully washed, this coffee displays an unexpectedly fruit-forward character similar to natural processed coffees. Expect bright strawberry lemonade acidity balanced by the smooth richness of bittersweet chocolate, with a delicate nectarine sweetness that lingers on the finish. A clean, vibrant cup perfect for the warmer days ahead, Maiden Coffee is excited present this single origin just in time for summer!
